Collection: UNLEASH RESORT '23

Crochet, — a process of knitting originally practised by the peasants in Scotland, with a small hooked needle called a shepherd's hook.

As a child the idea of knitting incepted in my mind while seeing my mother knitting sweaters along with my aunts. While I was in japan few years back I learnt the art of crochet there, and it intensified and left me intrigued to know more about the craft.
The collection came into life when my mother also showed her interest in crochet, an art she always wanted to learn.

So we started watching a lot of videos on YouTube and my mum learnt to do crochet though the language acted as a barrier as all the videos were in Russian or Ukrainian but she tried and eventually got a knack of it and slowly we started building up the collection.

The collection is very special to me as all the pieces are handcrafted by my Mother and in the process we also trained women to crochet in our atelier.

At our atelier we aspire to uplift women by training them in various crafts to support them and their families.
So the collection "UNLEASH RESORT '23 is a small step towards bringing women together to learn and create things together.
